WHAT IS BIN SHIFT?
At BIN SHIFT, we think it’s complete rubbish how much waste goes to Landfill in Australia. So we created a 100% local solution to the waste crisis, built on the principles of sustainability, great design and education.
Australia is one of the most wasteful countries in the world. Recyclable and compostable materials are sent to landfill every day, never able to be recovered – this is unsustainable.
Our unique waste separation system has 1 landfill bin and 5 recycling bins that recover valuable resources to build a circular economy – this is sustainable.
SHIFT your waste disposal habits from unsustainable to sustainable!
With BIN SHIFT, waste separation and resource recovery is easy, stylish, made fun and is a better choice for our Earth.
HOW TO USE BIN SHIFT
At BIN SHIFT we believe waste separation and resource recovery begins inside, when the item in your hand is ready for the bin.
We make it simple… just follow these 3 steps FILL | EMPTY | REUSE to SHIFT your waste disposal habits from unsustainable to sustainable!
We all need to use a bin, sometimes multiple times a day. Let BIN SHIFT help you choose the right bin. Look at the icons on the front of the bin to know what to fill it with.
When your BIN SHIFT bin is getting full or collection day is looming, empty the contents into your outside bin or take to a collection point. Read the instructions on the back of the bin to know where to empty it.
